1111 was born from more than three decades of travelling, studying, working and creating across countries, cultures and disciplines. A journey shaped by curiosity, driven by ambition and guided by a deep appreciation for the world around us.

From London, Vienna, Berlin, Bilbao and Oslo to Milan, Rome, Venice, New York, Los Angeles, Dubai and beyond, every place has offered a different perspective — a new idea, a different way of thinking, a lesson in craftsmanship or a deeper understanding of how people live.

We do not travel simply to see the world. We travel to learn from it.

We aim to support initiatives that protect vulnerable children, preserve wildlife and restore the natural world, including causes such as Save the Children, WWF and The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign.
